WHO IT SUITS

Structure for the work you do yourself.

You can protect study time

A self-directed format works best when you can set aside repeatable blocks for instruction, practice, and review.

You want to learn deliberately

Pause to explain the reasoning in your own words. Finishing a lesson is a starting point for practice, rather than evidence of mastery.

You can identify when to ask for help

If a repeated error remains unclear after review, individual feedback may address a need that another replay does not.

TRY AN ORIGINAL EXERCISE

What must follow from the facts?

This exercise was created for this page. It illustrates a reasoning skill; it is not a released LSAC question or a scored diagnostic.

Every applicant selected for a fellowship submitted a research proposal. Some selected applicants also completed an interview. Which statement must be true?

A. Every applicant who submitted a proposal was selected.

B. Some applicants who submitted a proposal completed an interview.

C. Every applicant who completed an interview was selected.

D. No applicant was selected without completing an interview.

E. Some applicants who submitted a proposal were not selected.

Explain your choice before reading on.

B must be true. The selected applicants who completed an interview are also proposal submitters, because every selected applicant submitted a proposal. The same people satisfy both descriptions.

A reverses the first rule. C reverses an interview relationship the facts never establish. D turns “some” into a requirement for everyone selected. E could be true, but the facts do not require any proposal submitter to have been rejected.

Transfer check

Every archived report has supervisor approval. Some archived reports were revised. Must some approved reports have been revised? Yes: the revised archived reports are also approved reports. Must every approved report be archived? No: that reverses the rule.

Your next-time action: track which group is inside another, then ask whether the same known members satisfy both descriptions. Test the move on an unfamiliar example.

PUT INSTRUCTION TO WORK

A study routine to pair with a course.

Learn and explain

Study one concept, then close the explanation and express the rule in your own words. Identify what would violate it.

Practice and compare

Apply the idea to fresh material. Record your reason before checking the explanation, so you can see what changed.

Review and transfer

Write a concrete adjustment and try it again on unfamiliar work. Add timing when the skill and practice purpose call for it.

BEFORE YOU ENROLL

Make the course fit your plan.

Ask for the current lesson catalog, access period, practice-material requirements, and cancellation or refund terms before enrollment. Confirm whether any LawHub subscription is included, required separately, or already covered by an account you have.

The course is self-directed. Private tutoring is a separate service unless your selected package expressly includes it. A course purchase does not promise a particular score or an admission result.
